N95 MASK FIT TESTING
GEM offers respiratory mask fit testing for organizations and individuals.
The GEM Health Care Services N95 Mask Fit Testing program is based on the standards and procedures of the respiratory mask manufacturer (3M™), the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Ministry of Labour. They also conform to the Canadian Standards Association and the National Institute of Safety and Health. Contact us to set an appointment.
REGISTERED NURSE (RN) OR REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE (RPN)
Registered nurse (RN) or Registered practical nurse (RPN) services offer specific skilled care to individuals in their homes or looking for additional care in long-term care facilities. GEM offers RN and RPN services including: administering medication and intravenous therapy, caring for wounds, foot and nail care, physiotherapy, helping with pain management, after surgery care and care of chronic or terminal illness.
GEM offers RN and RPN services on a 24 hours a day / 7 days a week basis.
PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER (PSW)
Personal support workers provide care and emotional support to people who are ill, elderly or need help with activities of daily living like toileting, changing, dressing, and feeding.
GEM offers PSW services to individuals in their homes or those looking for additional care in a long-term care facility.
GEM offers PSW services on a 24 hours a day / 7 days a week basis.
COMPANION SERVICES
Trained caregivers spend time with you or your loved one to ensure safety and security in the home. Companions can decrease isolation and offer a friend face and social stimulation for your loved one.
